Super Duplex Pipe & Fittings
Duplex stainless steel was developed to combat the corrosion caused by chloride and other aggressive chemicals. It is composed of equal portions of ferrite and austenite. Super duplex stainless steel contains an even greater chromium content in order to endure more caustic solutions like acid and acid chlorides. Super Duplex materials such as 2507 are highly resistant to corrosive and acidic elements and will have a longer lifespan in extreme environments than inferior alloys.
